When switching Tasks.org⇔jtxBoard tasks cannot be deleted #409
-
In the past I synchronized tasks with DavX⁵ and Tasks.org . Then I started synchronizing tasks with DavX⁵ and jtxBoard. In the turn over the tasks, imported by DavX⁵ in Tasks.org, were not deleted. After a while I switched from jtx Board to Tasks.org . The new tasks appear in Tasks.org. The old tasks, which were previously inserted by DavX⁵ in Tasks.org, and were in the meantime deleted from the server, are still in Tasks.org . The problem report is that under these circumstances DavX⁵ on synchronization does not delete tasks, which tasks were in the past downloaded by DavX⁵ and are currently deleted from the server. For the record, when the tasks are in a read-only calendar, there is no way to remove them manually from Tasks.org. Or rather, the only way to delete such tasks is to stop synchronizing that collection, so that tall its content is deleted, and then start synchronizing it again. |

@dilyanpalauzov, would have been useful to have stated the specific versions of each application that caused this issue, to ensure it's reproducible if ever it's fixed in a later version. |

The version used was the last one of F-Droid at the time the ticket was created. If I were promptly asked for this information, I would have provided it.
As it turned out at tasks/tasks#3065 , Tasks.org does not delete tasks from the server even when jtxBoard is not involved.
