We are using AL2 base image here: https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/aws-load-balancer-controller/blob/main/Makefile#L10. AL2 is in maintenance mode and we should upgrade to AL2023.

Go 1.24 has recently been released and we should upgrade to it: https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/aws-load-balancer-controller/blob/main/.go-version. The latest version is 1.24.1: https://go.dev/dl/
