This is to increase test coverage, e.g. at the ensure ownerreferences test, but also for others.

cc @fabriziopandini (we just noticed that we are not using ClusterClass e.g. in the ownerRef test)

Not sure how wide-spread this is but we should ideally use ClusterClass everywhere
