Dependency updates

We have several dependencies in our go.mod (and our other go.mod files) which come from k8s.io and sigs.k8s.io. At the time of writing we need to update those, but it appears to need to be done manually as dependabot has been failing to do so.

The purpose of this task is for someone to go check this out and look through all our go.mod files and get these dependencies up to date, making any changes that are required for them to work properly. This might seem a little weird to make an issue for, but we don't very often have good first issues in this project so small things like this provide an opportunity for new contributors to do something straightforward. We'll float it out here for a bit if someone wants that opportunity, or we'll just fall back to a maintainer doing it at some point soon.
