Question: Dropdown component

Hi all,

I've been looking to use this library in one of my projects and I am wondering if the dropdown component on fluent UI react version 9 will be introduced.

I am asking as I want to create a fluent select with groupings, however I cannot find a way to do that.

Looking at the react library I can see a OptionGroup component exists. Which groups the options, adds a header, and offsets them from the left by a bit.

Will a component like this be ever introduced? Or will the fluent select be updated to include option groups?

For the next major version (v5) we will use the Web Components v3. In there there is a Dropdown component (https://web-components.fluentui.dev/?path=/docs/components-dropdown-option--docs) but I'm not seeing anything yet for an OptionGroup. Maybe you can ask in the Fluent UI Web Components repo if that is in the pipeline

I understand. But we are not related the React Fluent team and there is no guarantee that what they do will end up in the Web Components as well.
