Currently the notes have this header

- **Date:** XXXX-XX-XX
- **Time:** [20:00 UTC](https://arewemeetingyet.com/UTC/2025-03-04/20:00/Docs%20Meeting)
- **This HackMD:** <https://hackmd.io/@encukou/pydocswg1>
- [**Discourse thread**](https://discuss.python.org/t/XXXXX) (for XXXXX)
- [**Meeting reports**](https://docs-community.readthedocs.io/en/latest/monthly-meeting/) (the latest one might be an [**unmerged PR**](https://github.com/python/docs-community/pulls))
- **Calendar event:** (send your e-mail to Mariatta for an invitation)
- **How to participate:**

This is just for the published notes, however it could also apply to the HackMD template.

  • We should remove This HackMD as it is reused, it makes no sense to have it here.
  • Meeting reports makes no sense since you are reading the report!
  • Calendar event/How to participate/This HackMD should be moved to their own page, maybe at Documentation Community Team > Monthly Meeting ? We can then add a single note "If you want to participate in future meetings see X"
  • Date and Time could be merged

Yes, I'm all for cleaning it up.

Usually I copy and paste from the HackMD.

I think we could ditch all of it from the minutes, to be honest, and just keep the date, which could in the title.

I'd still keep discourse thread even though it generally gets no attention.

Even if there was discussion there, it's not relevant to these minutes, which are a record of what happened in the meeting.

If there was something relevant mentioned in the meeting, we can of course link to it just like any other link.

Ill open a PR then, do we want to remove the "By participating in this meeting, you are agreeing to abide by and uphold the PSF Code of Conduct. Please take a second to read through it!" it also makes no sense in an archive.

Like this:

It's good to keep it in the HackMD agenda but I agree we don't need it in the minutes.

And we don't need to record the time afterwards, so we could perhaps delete that line and put "(3 March 2025)" in the title.
