Versions support till what time #25362

As an open source project run by volunteers, we don’t officially provide support for any version. All help is on a best effort basis, by the people that involved in the Trino community. You’ll generally have an easier time getting help from the community by running a recent version. It takes time and effort to troubleshoot problems, and people prefer to avoid tracking down a problem only to find that it’s already been fixed. Bug fixes are currently only done on trunk. There are no long term release branches. Oftentimes, you’ll see issues fixed by just upgrading to the latest version. If you’re seeking support for older versions, you might want to look for commercial vendors that offer their own products or distributions of Trino. |
